Hissy Cat, sometimes known as Joanna, lives in San Francisco. She works as a course
developer in Palo Alto and as a freelance writer in her messy, smelly, slowly rotting
Mission studio. Hire her! A regular glutton for employment, she is available for
all your writing needs.
Joanna was born in 1983 and grew up in New York City. She graduated from Riverdale Country School in the Bronx and then Stanford University in California. Joanna lives with Gerty, who has three legs and meows a lot.

Hissycat.com grew out of a personal blog, Yoyodyne, that Hissy Cat (alias "Joanna") maintained during a brief period of her life as she left her job and assorted life functions grind to halt and fall to shit pieces.
